Pastor James Beller

Bio, Press Release, and letter announcing the “Coming Destruction” briefing.

James R. Beller is a native of St. Louis, Missouri. He grew up on the “South Side” and attended St. Pius V. grade school on Utah and Grand Avenue.

In his high school days Pastor Beller was born again after reading Gospel tracts that had been given to his mother. Four years later, while attending a local state university, he surrendered to the Gospel ministry and enrolled in Bible college. While in college, he met his wife, Vickie.

James has pastored the Arnold Baptist Tabernacle in Jefferson County, Missouri since 1987. The church has enjoyed good growth from a storefront to its present properties, which include a lovely auditorium completed in 1994.

The church has planted these churches in the St. Louis and Missouri areas since 1996—The Solid Rock Baptist Church in Rock Hill, Missouri; the South Broadway Baptist Chapel, St. Louis, Missouri: the Victory Independent Baptist Church in St. Louis; Blessed Hope Baptist Church in Farmington, Missouri; and Grace Independent Baptist Church in High Ridge, Missouri. Arnold Baptist Tabernacle is currently assisting in planting the Gateway Baptist Church on the extreme south side of St. Louis.

Pastor Beller is the author of numerous booklets on doctrine and church planting. He is the author of the popular historical narratives, The Soul of St. Louis, America in Crimson Red, and the widely used Collegiate Baptist History Workbook. Both the workbook and America in Crimson Red are currently used in over 30 Baptist colleges and institutes both here and abroad.

Pastor Beller’s book, The Coming Destruction of the Baptist People is enjoying good distribution and the PowerPoint presentation of that timely book has been given as a briefing to over 600 preachers and 1100 home school family as of early 2007.

Pastor Beller and his wife have four children: Jeremy, Nicole, Zackary and Katherine.

press release “Coming Destruction of the Baptist People.”

PLEASE ANNOUNCE:

James Beller, pastor of Arnold Baptist Tabernacle in Arnold, Missouri and author of America in Crimson Red, The Collegiate Baptist History Workbook, and The Soul of St. Louis, will be holding the briefing “The Coming Destruction of the Baptist People” in your area.

As evidence by the current nearly total ignorance of Baptist history and heritage in our Christian schools, home schools, colleges, seminaries, pulpits, camp meetings, fellowships and conferences, it is of eminent importance that Baptists awaken. This briefing contains vital information on the Baptists, their history, their theology, their colleges, Christian school curriculum, and home schools. It gives evidence of tampering by factions of the Reformed movement on the Baptists and the devastating effects of their influence.

The following is a list of briefings to be held in etc….

letter announcing briefing

HOME SCHOOLERS, PASTORS, AND CHRISTIAN EDUCATORS
You’ve heard about it; don’t miss your chance to view it.
Shall Baptists lose their identity?
The Coming Destruction of the Baptist People
by James R. Beller, author of America in Crimson Red.

“ALL WHO KNOW MUCH OF THE BAPTIST DENOMINATION MUST HAVE REGRETTED THAT SO FEW ARE ACQUAINTED WITH ITS EARLY HISTORY…IT REMAINS A MATTER OF GREAT SURPRISE THAT OUR OWN CONGREGATIONS SHOULD BE, FOR THE MOST PART, UNINSTRUCTED IN THE PAST DOINGS OF OUR BODY.”—CHARLES SPURGEON

Fellow Pastors and friends:

Last year, an unprecedented number of Baptist churches either closed their doors, or dropped the name “Baptist” from their name. Does it make any difference?

An Illinois pastor, after viewing the briefing stated, “I just lost two home school families from my church to the Presbyterian church, now I know why.”

As evidence by the current nearly total ignorance of Baptist history and heritage in our Christian schools, home schools, colleges, seminaries, pulpits, camp meetings, fellowships and conferences, it is of eminent importance that Baptists awaken. We are in peril of losing our identity, and with it our distinctives and power.

This briefing contains vital information on the Baptists, their history, their theology, their colleges, Christian school curriculum, and home schools. It gives evidence of tampering by factions of the Reformed movement and the devastating effects of their influence. It reveals the ongoing obstruction and destruction of Baptist heritage.

We encourage you to attend one of the Iowa briefings. The briefing is presented in PowerPoint format and has been shown with great interest throughout the nation. Bring a fellow preacher or educator, and especially any home school families with you. It will be a tremendous blessing and time of information and inspiration to them.

The briefing will be held at:
